Studying for the GRE? Manufacturers of advanced graduate school studies provide consumers with vocabulary flash cards to study, memorize, and practice new words. If you just want to improve your vocabulary usage, then these flash cards can still be used by people just wanting to challenge their knowledge.

These cards come in small packaging and they can be carried around in pockets or purses as well. These cards provide you with the word, a proper pronunciation definition, synonyms and antonyms, and a sentence to clarify its usage. They are an excellent tool for improving vocabulary.

Take three or four cards and flash them in front of you. Don't know what a word means? That's alright. It's why we study to increase the knowledge of things we don't know. Look at the back of the card, read the sentence for usage, and try to envision where it can be used in your everyday life.
